PlanNRun is the first mobile app that enables you to plan and run every street in your city.
• Beginners: if you are new to running and get tired very quickly or you are afraid you might get lost, this is the app for you! • Experienced Runners: if you are an experienced runner but are bored of repeating the same routes every time, or you’re afraid to get lost if you start running in new areas and anxious at spending too much time planning the run, this is the app for you!
PlanNRun makes running more fun and engaging as you'll be receiving points while exploring new areas around you. It also makes it virtually impossible to get lost, guiding you every step of the way.
How it works: 1. Define a Challenge: the planned area where you'll be running. There are more than 30 cities worldwide already available and we are adding more upon request. Get in touch if your location is missing! 2. Start running. The app tracks your run and records all points that you have visited. Once you start, you will notice red circles on the map - these are waypoints on the streets around you that you haven't touched during a tracked run. As you visit these places, the circles turn green and you get points. But remember - you only receive points on your first visit, so the app encourages you to explore new places. 3. If you're listening to music while running, you'll want to switch on the Audio options - either get a "Ching" when receiving a point or get a summary after completing all the way-points of a street. 4. After you finish your run, press Pause and then press and hold the Stop button for five seconds. Your run will be saved and synchronised, so your running record will be updated with the new points and streets completed.
